Whether they are vertical or horizontal, the band is thick or thin... Vogue predicts this Summer's stripe trend is going to be "big, bold and bright". It is said that this trend emerged from the nautical style stripes fashionistas adopted earlier in the year. Leading designers seem to have made this a prominent pattern on the runway adopting loud and vibrant colours. Kourtney Kardashian (pictured above) was spotted with her son Mason wearing a coral coloured t-shirt with horizontal, thin black stripes. Stripes are fabulous given their versatility - they can be used as staple or statement garments. Both petite and curvier women can wear stripes however to best compliment the body petite women should look for narrow stripes where is curvier women should look for thicker stripes.
