Nail polish is one of the best accessories available. It's cheap, temporary, easy to apply and widely available. Painting your nails a cute colour can completely compliment an outfit. Nail polish is one of my favourite beauty items, and every girl should own at least five different shades. Different nail polish trends emerge all the time. Your choice of colour should depend on your mood, your outfit and should generally reflect the colours of the season. But really, there aren't too many rules when it comes to nail polish. The key is to have fun with it!Reflective of the current season (Spring/Summer), the nail polish trend has moved towards lots of bright colours. Celebrities such as Eva Longoria, Mischa Barton and Avril Lavigne have been seen trying out some crazy nail polish shades. As you can see in the image below, Eva's choice of pink nails totally compliments her otherwise plain outfit. A celebrity that makes no secret of her obsession with nail polish is MTV reality star Lauren Conrad.
