Red Lips

Hot, Sexy, Elegant, Stylish.
Red lipstick is an accessory which can revamp your look this Spring and Summer!
The main reason why people don't utilise red lipstick is because they are not sure about how to apply it well, or what colour tones to use.
Red is such a vibrant and vivacious colour, and for some it can be a little bit too much. So instead of using a full blown fiery red, try a subtle coral. Coral is an excellent alternative to a deep red as it accentuates the natural colours in our cheeks.

Particular shades of red suit certain skin tones. So here are some tips for your skin tone!
Fair Skin Tone: Most people would say that fair skin types should opt for a red-blue toned lipstick. Well, I disagree. Red-orange tones compliment fair skin as it brings out and compliments the natural honey undertones of fair skin.
As we can see below, red-blue lipsticks make fairer skin appear worn and sallow.
Opting for a red-orange lipstick compliments the natural undertones of the skin making you appear more radiant.

Beige Skin Types: If you're slightly sun-kissed, red-orange lipstick would always suit you, however, why not try a red-brown lipstick. It's certainly different and will add another dimension to your look.
Below we can see Lauren Conrad with a deep red, it adds understated glamour.

Olive Skin Types: Kourtney Kardashian (below) is rocking a gorgeous coral red lipstick, which compliments her olive skin tone.

Dark Skin Types: Darker skin types can really try bold and vivacious colours which would bring out their lips and create a stylish and breathtaking look.
As we can see on Beyonce (above) red lipstick compliments her deep skin tone, which brings out the rosiness in her cheeks. With a set of bold and beautiful lashes your look is complete!

Good luck!
